Word search activities are the equivalent of learning and fun. We did a simple one with a list of 11 African countries. This type of activity is quick and easy to put together.
You’ll need;
- Poster board (Amazon has the best deal on this)
- Markers
- Yard stick/ruler
- Tape
What I love about this particular one is that my daughter is learning how to pronounce and spell the different countries. It doesn’t feel like homework and that’s the best part. The countries were actually chosen randomly, although I wanted to include Zimbabwe as this is a subtle reminder of her heritage. If you have an African country that holds a special place, by all means make it personal to you.
